Responsibilities
- Assist with development, deployment, and maintenance of Power Apps and Power Automate solutions to support business processes and organizational frameworks.
- Help design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug applications and workflows for enhancements and new automation products.
- Monitor and maintain automation services, ensuring system health and continuously looking for process improvements.
- Scale automation solutions sustainably, leveraging continuous deployment and automation tools.
- Implement recommended design patterns from leads and architects to ensure best practices.
- Work in an agile environment, participating in practices such as UAT, Design Strategy Sessions, and collaborating closely with other developers, designers, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Design and build business applications and automated workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate, following agile and test-driven development practices.
- Develop efficient, scalable, and secure solutions under broad supervision.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and product owners to deliver cloud-based automation solutions targeting Microsoft platforms, Clienture, and other cloud environments.
- Communicate progress clearly, proactively identify and address blocking issues.
- Engage in paired programming and code reviews with senior developers to expand technical expertise and understanding of automation best practices.
- Conduct independent research to refine automation techniques and present findings to peers.
Qualifications
- Experience creating solutions with Power Apps, Power Automate, and other automation tools, both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in navigating and operating Microsoft development environments and IDEs.
- Familiarity with APIs and connectors, with exposure to integrating various data sources and services.
- Knowledge of multiple development frameworks and automation platforms, including prior experience working with Microsoft’s Power Platform ecosystem.
- Understanding of cloud-native automation best practices, including the use of microservices, DevOps principles, and the benefits of cloud-based solutions.
- Self-sufficient in at least one scripting or programming language, and able to quickly adapt to new technologies and automation tools.
- Experience with databases, including basic design, integration, and data management techniques.
- Awareness of cyber security principles, such as authentication, authorization, and encryption, with the ability to leverage security features within Power Platform solutions.
