Software Engineer - Golang

Duration: 2 years contract | Location: Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior/Lead Full-Stack Engineer with 10+ years of experience who is very strong on the backend, especially Golang, but can also work with React on the frontend. The candidate will build scalable applications that handle large amounts of data and work with MongoDB/NoSQL technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack applications using Go + React.
• Design backend services and APIs using Golang.
• Work with MongoDB and large/complex datasets.
• Design systems that are scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant.
• Work with AWS/cloud-native environments.
• Use CI/CD, Git, and modern development tools.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions and make technical decisions.
• Work closely with Product, QA, and other engineering teams.
• Lead technical projects, estimate work, and identify risks.
• Perform code reviews and mentor other developers.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity.
• Develop and support applications in healthcare environments while following applicable security and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Golang/Go.
• Strong experience with React.
• Strong full-stack development experience.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB/NoSQL.
• Experience designing and developing distributed systems and scalable architectures.
• Experience with AWS/cloud-native environments.
• Experience with APIs, CI/CD, Git, and modern development tools.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design.
• Experience leading technical projects and mentoring developers.
• Healthcare system experience is required.
• Healthcare/pharmacy experience is required, especially in HIPAA environments.
