Meet the Team
The Edge Processor team builds the critical software that collects, processes, transforms, and routes high-volume data right where it’s generated. Operating across cloud-native services and customer-managed environments, we prioritize performance, reliability, security, and operability at scale. Our work is at the heart of Cisco’s Data Fabric framework. By enabling sophisticated data management and observability at the edge, we power real-time threat detection, compliance monitoring, and operational intelligence across Cisco’s vast ecosystem of hardware, cloud, endpoints, and networks. When you join us, you will work with groundbreaking technology, demonstrating AI-powered capabilities like automated field extraction and self-healing pipelines. Your contributions will directly improve data quality, accelerate time-to-value, and drive the AI-powered insights that strengthen Cisco’s coordinated security and observability solutions.

About the role

Write clean, secure, and maintainable code with mentorship, add relevant tests, and evaluate changes for correctness, reliability, and performance. Perform debugging and solving throughout development, and participate in incident triage, post-incident learning, and supported on-call rotation.
