Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver modern, cloud-native software solutions that enable national security missions.
- Build and maintain secure, containerized microservices and RESTful APIs with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, React, Node.js, and Spring Boot.
- Participate in Agile sprints, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Support DevSecOps pipelines while meeting security and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with mission users and product managers to refine requirements.
- Perform code reviews and mentoring fellow developers.
- Resolve prioritized tasks alongside internal teams at North Point Technology.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Web development with HTML, CSS, JSON, AJAX, and REST APIs.
- Modern front-end and back-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, Spring Boot, Django, or Flask).
- Cloud development on AWS or Azure.
- Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server).
- Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Version control with Git.
- Ci/Cd pipelines (GitLab CI or Jenkins).
- Agile collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Secure coding practices and government accreditation processes (RMF, STIGs).
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
