Pay

Salary Range: $176k–$192k per year with an additional $44k–$48k in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions.

Responsibilities

• Develop data transforms for every kind of data (text, JSON, databases, XML, configs, etc.).
• Gather feature requests, new application requirements, and understand project and customer needs.
• Dive into unknown data and help analysts determine the right questions to ask.
• Work on tools to improve the performance of applications and transforms, enabling better data understanding.
• Manage and support mission-critical servers, acting as both a developer of server frameworks and a sysadmin when needed.

Requirements

• 8 years of experience; B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional years in place of a degree.
• Strong experience with Python.
• Knowledge of dataframes (pandas, polars).
• Knowledge of SQL as a language and different database flavors (SQLite, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Understanding of Git and GitLab for source control.
• Familiarity with TypeScript/JavaScript and React or another modern frontend framework.
• Comfortable working directly with customers and receiving direct feedback.
