Software engineer, full-stack

About the role

We are looking for a team member who is excited to do everything involved in shipping great products, including hands-on engineering, talking with customers, mastering the climate domain, and setting direction for the company. You will be joining as an early member of the team that will shape everything that comes next at Watershed.

Responsibilities

• Ship code to production on day one
• Collaborate with product, design, climate science, and data science to build and iterate on software that helps our customers understand their climate data
• Build new interactive data visualizations to help climate leads understand their company's emissions
• Build APIs to unify carbon data access for customers and other engineers
• Build data pipelines that help financial institutions measure and report emissions across their portfolio companies
• Build tools for customers to effectively ingest and interpret business data

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering industry experience, preferably in Node.js web development or data pipelines
• Experience building scalable software starting from user needs
• Excited to join a startup and ready to help evolve a growing engineering team

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work from an office 4 days per week (except for remote roles)
• Watershed has hub offices in San Francisco, New York, London, and Mexico City and satellite offices in Denver, Sydney, Paris, and Berlin
