Responsibilities

  • Full-stack software development supporting the GEOINT Visualization Services (GVS) platform
  • Angular / TypeScript development
  • Migrating applications from AngularJS to Angular
  • Back-end API integration
  • Collaborating within a SAFe scrum team
  • Ensuring adherence to OGC geospatial standards
  • Delivering secure, cloud-native, containerized tools

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance to start; TS/SCI preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Security+ (or DoD 8140-equivalent) certification - ability to obtain required, current certification preferred

Qualifications

North Point Technology is looking for a Software Developer with strong full-stack engineering skills who can thrive on a SAFe scrum team and deliver innovative geospatial tools in support of the mission.

Skills

  • Angular / TypeScript development
  • AngularJS to Angular migration experience (preferred)
  • Proven SAFe / Agile Release Train experience (preferred)
  • RxJS / observable expertise (preferred)
  • Experience applying OGC geospatial standards (WMS, WFS, Tile Services) (preferred)
  • Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (preferred)
  • Back-end API development (Java / Python) (preferred)
  • PostgreSQL, AWS, and Red Hat Linux (preferred)
  • Git / open-source contributions, peer code review, and unit testing frameworks (preferred)
