About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic and agile development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in translating high-level roadmap features into actionable development tasks, designing and implementing robust software solutions, and ensuring seamless integration and testing of new features. Your responsibilities will include conducting peer code reviews, debugging complex issues, and participating in technical discussions to define and refine overarching software architecture needs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to understand project requirements and stakeholder needs, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on mission-critical applications within a fast-paced environment, contributing to projects with national security implications.

Qualifications

  • Frontend framework development experience using Angular, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
  • Experience working with REST APIs and Docker containers
  • Proficiency in UI/UX design and iteration tools such as Figma, MockFlow, UXPin, or Axure
  • Experience performing verification-level testing on UI/UX components using frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, or Jest
  • Comprehensive understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience; an advanced degree may substitute for 2 additional years of experience
  • Active U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Decompose high-level roadmap features into detailed, actionable work items for development teams
  • Design, develop, and integrate software features, ensuring functionality aligns with project requirements
  • Conduct thorough peer reviews of code to maintain quality standards and facilitate knowledge sharing
  • Debug and resolve software issues promptly to ensure system stability and performance
  • Participate in technical discussions to define system architecture and solve complex software challenges
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, systems, and customer stakeholders, to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet operational needs
  • Contribute to documentation and testing strategies to support deployment and maintenance activities
