About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop state-of-the-art Linux-based networking platforms
- Design and implement Linux-based solutions on embedded devices, ideally for networking products
- Collaborate with people across AWS to help deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers
- Experience in packet forwarding in networking devices; owning the core functionality of a networking switch
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Skills
Passionate about changing the way data center networking is done. Expertise in Linux kernel and core networking expertise. Understanding both how Linux manages forwarding and how that maps to the underlying forwarding hardware.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $143,700.00 - $194,400.00 USD annually.
