About the role
As a Software Engineer on the Creator Business team, you will help drive a healthy and ever-growing creator economy at Roblox. Our mission is to help Creators efficiently operationalize their revenue so they can invest in and grow their business. The team works on complex areas such as monetization analytics, revenue reporting, payouts, and taxes, requiring penny-perfect accuracy and zero defects. In this role, you'll build and own the scalable, secure, and reliable platform that lets our creators thrive. You'll work alongside your team, partnering with product and other engineering teams to shape end-to-end requirements and drive projects with real impact and visibility. You'll take meaningful, scoped projects from concept to completion, shape key system design decisions, and have the room to surface improvements and communicate technical decisions with clarity and confidence.

Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in Software Engineering/Computer Science
- Proficiency in building and scaling data pipelines
- Experience with distributed systems, API design, and microservices architecture
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field
Pay
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is $153,120—$196,750 USD. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand.
Schedule
Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday.
