Summary: In this contingent resource assignment, you may:
- Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunity for process improvements within Software Engineering.
- Review and analyze basic or tactical Software Engineering assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, related to low-to-medium risk deliverables.
- Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Provide information to client personnel in Software Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
- Key Requirements: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
- Software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Hands-on experience in Java, Python, and Spring Boot-based application development
- Experience with modern web technologies React and Angular
- Experience designing and developing APIs or microservices
- Working knowledge of databases such as MongoDB or similar technologies
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
- Understanding of software development lifecycle practices including testing and debugging
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with cloud environments (Google Cloud, Azure, OpenShift, or Kubernetes-based platforms)
- Exposure to Kafka or event-driven architectures
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or API automation tools
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
