Software Engineer, CAD Automation

About the Role

NVIDIA is seeking a Software/CAD Automation Engineer to build solutions that boost productivity and efficiency of custom circuit designs. You will engage with multi-functional teams to ensure the robustness of designs that have direct impact across all product lines.

What You'll Be Doing

• Work within a multi-functional team on various projects involving Pre-silicon and Post Silicon hardware design and related data
• Support circuit design engineers to automate typical design tasks and improve efficiency
• Build flows and methodology around vendor EDA tool and design collaterals to streamline design and verification workflows
• Work closely with design engineers to support the existing development infrastructure, identify possible improvements and solutions
• Employ good software engineering practices to develop complex and scalable systems

What We Need To See

• MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience; PhD preferred
• 3+ years of experience in VLSI CAD flows and methodology
• Prior experience and background in VLSI is required
• Good programming skills in multiple languages (C++, Tcl, Python, Makefile or other scripting languages)
• Good interpersonal skills, quick learner, proactive, innovative, highly motivated, and committed

Pay

Base salary range: 136,000 USD - 218,500 USD for Level 3, and 168,000 USD - 264,500 USD for Level 4. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
