Software Engineer C

About the role

The Software Engineer will focus on developing software for value-add processes within the Operations business unit. Responsibilities include participating in the entire software development life cycle, from specification to testing, and providing support and training for developed products to related departments. Additionally, the role involves supporting the advancement and implementation of operational improvements across the Yaskawa Intelligent Automation (YAI) OPS enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for value-add processes in the Operations business unit
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (specification, detailed design, testing, design review, and development)
• Provide support and training for developed products to related departments
• Support the advancement and implementation of operational improvements across the Yaskawa Intelligent Automation (YAI) OPS enterprise

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering
• Minimum of 1 year in software development
• Advanced knowledge of one or more programming languages (C++, SQL, Python, etc.)
• Good coding practices
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
