About the role
Lockheed Martin has been embedded with the USSTRATCOM Nuclear Mission for 30+ years and has a track record of bringing innovative mission software solutions to this domain. We are seeking engineers to support our USSTRATCOM software teams which create Planning and Command and Control (C2) capabilities as part of the Strategic Mission Planning and Execution System (SMPES) in a DevSecOps environment.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a cross-functional Agile team to implement new mission capabilities.
- Develop modern Web-based, Java mission systems for the Nuclear community.
- Ensure software reflects secure coding, architectural, and usability best practices as you work Full Stack across the mission architecture.
- Collaborate with architecture, cyber, test, and product owner stakeholders to deliver capabilities.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent STEM field.
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
- Ability to develop Web or Java code in an Agile / DevSecOps team environment.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with development tooling such as VS Code, GitLab, Gradle, GIT, JUnit, Selenium, JIRA.
- Experience with JavaScript Frameworks / Libraries (React/Angular/Vue), CSS, and HTML.
- Experience with Web Services (REST) or JSON/XML.
- Experience with Kafka Java Spring, Spring Boot.
- Experience developing using microservice architectures.
- Engineering experience with AFNWC SMPES, MPAS, NPES Systems.
Skills
