Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Cloud Engineer to join our cloud infrastructure team. In this role, you will assist in designing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and applications. You will work alongside senior engineers to support cloud operations, automate routine tasks, and help ensure the security, availability, and performance of cloud environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 1–4 years of experience in cloud computing or IT infrastructure.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, VPN).
• Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or Google Cloud Digital Leader certification.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Basic knowledge of monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, or Prometheus.
