Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Python applications and scripts.
• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Collect, clean, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Troubleshoot and debug software and database-related issues.
• Automate repetitive tasks using Python.
• Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Document code, processes, and technical solutions.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle).
• Knowledge of data analysis using libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Basic understanding of data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts.
• Understanding of database design and normalization.
• Basic knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python frameworks such as Flask or Django.
• Knowledge of ETL processes.
• Familiarity with APIs and JSON.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Exposure to machine learning libraries is an advantage.
