About the role
A leading investment management firm seeks a Middle Office Software Developer to join their technology team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and support of systems essential for portfolio management, trade processing, pricing, and valuation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support Windows and web-based applications used across investment operations
- Build and enhance systems supporting portfolio management, trading, positions, allocations, security master, and P&L workflows
- Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver practical solutions
- Participate throughout the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Strong experience with C#/.NET and object-oriented programming
- Experience building Windows and/or web applications using technologies such as ASP.NET MVC, Angular, JavaScript, Web APIs, WPF, or WinForms
- Strong SQL Server and database development skills
- Familiarity with APIs, messaging technologies, and distributed systems
- Experience within financial services, asset management, hedge funds, or investment technology environments
- Exposure to portfolio management systems and workflows, including trades, positions, allocations, security master, and P&L
- Knowledge of pricing, valuation, market data, or investment operations systems is a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Pay
$100,000 - $120,000 annually
Schedule
5 days per week onsite in Connecticut
