Who We Are

Flip is a company that provides voice AI solutions to hundreds of brands, including Under Armour, Tory Burch, Experity, and Fast Pace Health. Our mission is to build a reference list as long as our customer list and to have a great team. We are currently a small and mighty team of 50 located in NYC, LA, and the UK.

What You Will Do

• Create user experiences and design/implement new features
• Oversee entire pipelines of the Flip assistant
• Get deep into the data and interact with customers
• Help shape the direction of the product
• Work on intricate Python-based systems interfacing with a wide range of external APIs
• Develop optimized LLM interfaces
• Handle complex dialogue management and flows
• Shape conversational workflows
• Ensure low-latency, high-availability voice experiences

Who You Are, As An Engineer

• Able to dive into complex Python codebases and quickly understand them
• Write clean, pythonic, well-tested, and maintainable code
• Perform thorough yet swift PR code reviews
• Can multitask and troubleshoot production issues
• Own your work and foster trust with colleagues

Who You Are, As A Person

• Hold a BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline
• Exceptional programming skills with a strong proficiency in Python (minimum of 3-5 years)
• Familiarity with REST APIs, authentication methods, and third-party integrations
• A good working knowledge of data analytics and metrics pipelines
• Eager to support teammates and communicate with non-technical teammates

Bonuses

• Experience with LLM Prompt Engineering and deploying LLMs
• Experience with Pipecat, TTS, and STT pipelines
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and Ansible
• An entrepreneurial drive and experience working at a successful startup
