About the role
Lead small teams to design, develop, and implement test software for complex space-based imaging payloads and embedded systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to engineering teams
- Refine test requirements and develop test plans and procedures
- Integrate and test embedded flight systems at both software and hardware levels
- Document testing issues and results
- Support hardware/software setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Focus on automation and complex test scenarios
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 7–13 years of relevant experience
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
- Proven experience in aerospace system test development and embedded processing systems
- Experience with tools such as LabView, MATLAB, Simulink, COSMOS, and automation frameworks
Qualifications
- Experience with space domain applications, image processors, and cyber compliance tools (preferred)
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance (preferred)
- Experience with DevOps tools and space vehicle test software development (preferred)
Skills
- Leadership in technical teams
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Expertise in embedded systems testing
- Familiarity with space industry standards
- Proficiency in relevant software tools
