Software Engineer
Responsibilities
- Provide full lifecycle support for software development, including direct interaction with users and stakeholders.
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows applications and systems for the collection, processing, and dissemination of lawfully collected data.
- Support the integration of data sources from collection systems and the development of data visualizations within a law enforcement mission management system.
- Contribute to system-level design efforts to optimize performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Translate system and software designs into operational software solutions.
- Test, debug, troubleshoot, and refine software applications and services.
- Collaborate with software engineers, system architects, analysts, and mission stakeholders to deliver mission-focused capabilities.
- Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and development discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s (B.S.) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of two (2) years of direct experience performing software development activities at the user or kernel level.
- Experience deriving design specifications and developing, troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining complex software solutions.
- Significant experience using object-oriented programming languages such as C and C#.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing or integrating RESTful services.
- Experience working with web servers and web-based applications.
- Experience supporting law enforcement, Department of Defense, or Intelligence Community missions.
- Experience integrating multiple data sources into enterprise applications.
