Position Overview

Red Arch Solutions is hiring a Software Engineer to join a priority program in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

Position Description

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems
• Works individually or as part of a team
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results
• Solves software problem reports
• Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment
• Provides specific input to the software components of system design
• Uses JAVA and JMS to implement Business Logic
• Customizes COTS products to meet Federal Data Guidelines and implement access controls
• Familiarity with Containerization and Software Architecture
• Familiarity with Data modeling
• Mentors other Software Developers
• Works with Systems Engineers for JAVA ticketing
• Familiarity with Application performance monitoring (APM)
• Experience with AWS
• Works using communications protocols to interface with COTS tools
• Recommend and implement a testing solution to cover multiple test cases (unit, component, end to end)
• Implements C4 modeling (c4model.com) for visualizing Software Architecture

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Ten (10) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
