Software Engineer

Clearance level: Must currently possess Top Secret SCI + Polygraph. US Citizenship required.

Praxis Engineering, a GDIT company, creates mission solutions in cyber-related technologies and products. We are seeking Software Engineers to tackle challenging Computer Network Operations problems and develop cutting-edge capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Process specific 802.11 signals captured from various methods, environments, and antennas
• Develop intuitive user interfaces to command and control 802.11 collection and emission systems
• Reverse engineer newly released operating system kernels and update custom drivers for integration of Wi-Fi radios/modems
• Implement development in a tailored agile methodology, utilizing GitLab for build/merges
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
• Communicate clearly in a team environment with fellow engineers, stakeholders, and customers
• Estimate, decompose, and implement iterative tasks, automated tests, and routine builds in a team environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
• Four (4) years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and projects of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Five (5) or more years of related experience
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $114,750 - $155,250.

Schedule

Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Telecommuting options: Onsite.
