Software Engineer

About the role

Pittsburgh-based company specializing in wireless power, low power electronics design, and wireless communication solutions seeks a Software Engineer to support numerous application and product lines.

Work with the engineering team designing software for various products, develop products using wireless technologies like Bluetooth, RFID, NFC, Wi-Fi, and provide necessary support for product releases.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate product requirements to specify design criteria and tradeoffs
• Perform R&D work and build internal tools on demand
• Work on multiple concurrent projects
• Maintain good communication and interface with QA, Electrical, Mechanical, and Management teams
• Stay organized and maintain good documentation

Requirements

• Two years or more of programming experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Engineering (preferred) or Computer Science
• Background knowledge of wireless protocols, especially Bluetooth and RFID
• Results and team-oriented with a strong desire for hands-on work
• Good communication skills
