On-siteInformation Technology$140k–$250k/yrFull-time
Your Responsibilities
- Own critical product areas from concept to production: design and build features across our full stack, make architectural decisions, work directly with customers to validate solutions, and ensure your systems scale as we grow.
- Multiply the team's impact: write code that other engineers build on top of, establish patterns that improve our velocity, share knowledge that levels up the team, and help shape how we build at Opal.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Loves To Build end-to-end: you can take a customer problem, design the solution, and ship it across frontend and backend.
- Think creatively: you're not a code monkey or a bot following specs. You question requirements, propose better approaches, and care about the "why" behind what you're building.
- Thrive in undefined spaces: you get energized by ambiguous problems where there's no playbook. You'd rather figure out what to build than be handed a detailed spec.
- Talk to customers: you want to understand who you're building for, what they need, and how Opal enables their growth and success.
- Explore a passion or curiosity in IAM / security

About The Role
Identity is having a moment. Every company is deploying agents, spinning up service accounts, and realizing their IAM stack can't keep up. We're building AI-native security that scales with this chaos and companies like Databricks and Figma are betting on us to get it right. You will build customer solutions across the entire stack. You'll talk directly to security and eng teams at Fortune 500s and startups alike, understand their messy reality, and architect systems that actually solve their problems. You'll own the problem, not just the solution, which means you get to be creative, challenge assumptions, and build things that don't exist yet.
