Software Engineer

About the role

The Software Engineer will support a mission-focused effort in the Huntsville area, playing a key part in supporting missile defense efforts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop real-time embedded software applications
• Integrate and test software with complex hardware systems
• Support the delivery of mission-critical capabilities in an Agile development environment

Requirements

• Must possess a current, in-scope Secret or higher security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 2+ years of related experience, or a Master’s degree in a STEM field
• Experience developing real-time embedded software in C++
• Experience with hardware/software integration
• Experience developing software in a RHEL/Linux environment
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools and Agile software development practices
• Ability and willingness to travel 10% to support business needs

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on-site in an office environment in Huntsville, AL

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or related field
• Missile Defense domain knowledge
• Experience using LabView
• Security + Certification
