Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Blazor, .NET, SQL, Databricks, and Python.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following team standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews with lead developers and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to understand, clarify, and refine business requirements.
- Translate business needs into well-defined technical specifications.
- Actively participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and requirements review sessions to ensure alignment between business goals and technical deliverables.
- Work with lead developers and the manager to architect and design technical solutions in response to business feature requests.
- Evaluate technical options, assess trade-offs, and contribute to solution design discussions.
- Produce architecture documentation and technical specifications to support development and stakeholder communication.
- Partner with the QA team to review test plans, participate in test execution, and ensure that developed solutions meet defined acceptance criteria.
- Support defect triage, assist in root cause analysis, and contribute to overall software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Leverage AI Agents and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate the creation of technical specifications, code generation, and documentation.
- Stay current with emerging AI development capabilities and apply them pragmatically to improve engineering efficiency and output quality.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience.
Critical Skills
- Hands-on software development experience with .NET and SQL in a professional environment.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment, collaborating with Product Owners on requirements and with QA teams on testing and quality assurance.
- Proficiency in Blazor and .NET for web application development.
- Experience with Databricks and Python for data engineering and analytics workloads.
- Familiarity with OKTA for identity and access management, and Azure/Azure DevOps for cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of GitHub for source control and JIRA for project and issue tracking.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Demonstrated experience using AI Agents and AI-assisted tools (such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to write code, generate technical specifications, and improve development efficiency.
- Solid understanding of software development best practices including code reviews, version control, and automated testing.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
