Software Engineer

This hybrid role requires two days in-office per week in Boston, Portsmouth, Plano, Indianapolis, or Columbus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business colleagues and customers to solve technical challenges and ensure quality through collaborative, test- and behavior-driven development.
- Tackle complex problems with innovative and creative approaches to develop effective solutions.
- Keep the end-user at the forefront, building products that deliver meaningful customer value.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance, quality, and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Three years of software engineering experience.
- Experience working in an agile environment utilizing Scrum, Kanban, or XP.
- Experience or exposure to modern front-end and back-end technologies such as React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, including AWS, Cloud Foundry, and CDNs (e.g., Akamai).
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and a knack for explaining your decision-making process to non-engineers.
- A collaborative, adaptable working style, demonstrated initiative, and the ability to prioritize your time and efforts.
- A thorough grasp of technology concepts, business operations, design and development tools, system architecture, and technical standards.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
