Software Engineer

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the sequencing analysis pipeline, focusing on bug fixes and features
• Maintain build configuration and CI/CD infrastructure including Jenkins and Bitbucket
• Triage and diagnose pipeline failures reported by field and internal teams
• Develop operational tooling for job monitoring and pipeline configuration management
• Handle data features such as backup logic and sample sheet validation
• Implement concurrency controls and reliability improvements in pipeline execution
• Support package management across Python and JavaScript/TypeScript projects

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong Python skills with experience in large, production codebases
• Familiarity with Linux and high-performance computing environments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build systems like Jenkins and Bitbucket
• Comfortable debugging across complex codebases with relational databases and web services
• Knowledge of JavaScript with a willingness to learn TypeScript
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a team

Pay

$108,400 – $127,500 annually
