Software Engineer

About the role

The successful candidate will contribute to the development and sustainment of secure embedded processing applications operating at the hardware/software interface within a mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining C++ code for embedded secure processing applications.
• Developing low-level software that interfaces directly with hardware components and communication protocols.
• Creating, configuring, and maintaining embedded Linux images including kernel configuration and system bring-up.
• Supporting integration and debugging in lab environments while maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver prototype and production-ready secure systems.

Requirements

• Proficiency in C++ programming and experience with hardware communication protocols like PCIe, SPI, and I2C.
• Experience creating and configuring embedded Linux images and performing system bring-up activities.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills at the hardware/software interface.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Likely to require a government security clearance.
