Software Engineer

About the role

Leverage technical expertise to support complex data pipelines and related applications, ensuring the integrity and security of critical data systems from collection to ingestion.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, optimize, and maintain resilient data pipelines with a focus on collection, ingestion, ETL, and analytics.
• Develop and support complex data solutions, including data transformation, validation, and quality controls.
• Integrate data from a variety of internal and external sources, including REST APIs and structured formats.
• Test, troubleshoot, and validate data movement, parsing, and transformation code across environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data products and support end users in analytics environments.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with software development using Python and data engineering principles.
• Proven track record building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and ingestion workflows.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub, Bash, Linux, and command-line tools in production environments.
• Familiarity with common data formats such as JSON, XML, CSV, and semi-structured data.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
