Key Responsibilities
- Support IT systems, applications, business processes, and technology initiatives across assigned business areas.
- Aid in gathering, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements.
- Partner with business users and IT teams to understand system needs, process gaps, reporting needs, and operational challenges.
- Analyze current-state workflows and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, usability, data quality, and system performance.
- Support testing activities, including test case development, user acceptance testing, defect tracking, and issue validation.
- Assist with troubleshooting system issues, documenting root causes, and coordinating resolution with technical teams.
- Create and maintain documentation such as process flows, requirements documents, user guides, data mapping, system notes, and support materials.
- Support reporting, dashboards, data analysis, and business insights as needed.
- Afford system enhancements, upgrades, integrations, deployments, and production support activities.
- Participate in project meetings, document decisions, track action items, and provide status updates to project teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business operations, IT, data, infrastructure, application development, security, and vendor partners.
- Learn organizational systems, standards, tools, and processes while building technical and business analysis capability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information systems, computer science, business analytics, data analytics, engineering, technology management, or a related field.
- Completion of an internship, graduate program, rotational program, academic project, or early-career work experience in IT, systems analysis, business analysis, data analytics, application support, or technology project support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand business processes and system functionality.
- Ability to gather requirements, ask good questions, document findings, and translate business needs into clear technical or functional notes.
- Exposure to systems analysis, business process analysis, application support, data analysis, testing, or project coordination.
- Basic understanding of databases, SQL, reporting tools, APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, or enterprise applications.
- Ability to support testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and user support activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through, organization, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing business and technology priorities.
