The Role
- Design, implement, and operate the network control plane for a global telecommunications service spanning space and terrestrial networks.
- Develop solutions for multi-dimensional routing problems at a global scale.
- Implement Routing and Forwarding, Traffic Engineering, and SDN technologies to deliver high-quality broadband network services.
- Build highly-available software for networking control plane operations on physical and remote nodes.
- Define and automate processes for software development, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
- Ensure operational excellence for control plane services, including tool enablement and process refinement.
What You'll Need
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience developing routing control plane software in C and Rust.
