Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build foundational cloud computing infrastructure at an unprecedented scale.
• Develop virtualized, hardware-accelerated solutions for high-performance disk instances.
• Work across the full technology stack, from low-level hardware optimization to high-level frameworks.
• Solve complex performance optimization problems for massive datasets supporting AI/ML workloads.
• Contribute to the platform that supports multiple processor architectures and sets industry standards for security and performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience in languages such as C, C++, Java, or Rust.
• Experience leading the design and architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
• Proficiency in Linux environments, including package management, version control, automated builds, and unit testing.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.

Pay

Competitive annual salary ($193,300 - $261,500) plus potential for sign-on bonuses and stock units.
