About the role

Software Engineers support the complete lifecycle of software intensive distributed computing signal processing systems, working in a collaborative multi-disciplined team environment including software, systems, and signal processing engineers.

Responsibilities

Produce and capture various design, implementation and test artifacts
Participate in peer reviews of such artifacts
Support the integration of these artifacts into the system(s) under construction
Support the installation of these systems at ISA factories as well as customer facilities
Respond to change requests and defect reports from installed systems

Desirable Skills

C/C++, Python, Linux, Agile Processes, Version Control (Git)
Cloud-Native Messaging (RabbitMQ, NATS, AMQP)
REST API Development (OpenAPI, Contract Testing)
TCP/IP Networking (particularly for Cloud/Edge networking)
Continuous Integration / DevOps (Gitlab, Nexus, SonarQube, Test Frameworks)
Docker Development & Deployment (Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD)
Automated Software Feedback (Prometheus, Loki, Grafana)
Hypervisors and cloud computing (AWS, VMware, Harvester)
Graphical User Interface (GUI) development using web frameworks
Atlassian Products (Confluence, Jira)
IaC automation and tooling (ansible, packer, terraform)
Kubernetes Cluster Management (Rancher, RKE2, K3S)
Knowledge of security hardening standards (DISA STIGs, CIS benchmarks)

Essential Education and Experience

Degree: BS/BA
Majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics
Experience: 3 or more years

Required Qualifications

C clearance: Position requires TS and ability to obtain SSBI (in some cases, including polygraph).
Employment at ISA requires US citizenship.

We offer a compensation package that includes a competitive base salary plus annual performance bonus and benefits. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as candidate's work experience, education, training & skills, as well as market and business considerations. We are also open to considering candidates with experience and qualifications at a different level than required in a job posting, which may affect the compensation package offered.

$105,000 - $135,000 USD
