About the role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer with a strong focus on SharePoint and Power Platform development to join our IT team. This role will design, develop, and maintain custom SharePoint and web-based solutions that support internal business processes and enhance productivity across the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom SharePoint Online solutions using SPFx, Power Automate, Power Apps, and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain workflows, forms, and dashboards to streamline business processes.
  • Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive) and third-party systems.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and documentation for in-house developed solutions.
  • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with firm policies and legal standards.
  • Participate in Git workflow/version control, code reviews, testing, and related deployment processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in SharePoint development (SharePoint Online preferred).
  • Proficiency in:
    • SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
    • Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)
    • JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS
    • REST APIs
  • MS SQL and relational database knowledge preferred.
  • Experience with tools such as Copilot.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in professional services environments.
  • Knowledge of document management systems and legal compliance standards.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday; 8-hour day shift
  • Indianapolis office; hybrid option

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and operating office equipment.
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 10–15 pounds (e.g., files, documents, office supplies).
  • Visual acuity to read screens, review documents, and analyze detailed information.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video, and in person.
