Software Engineer
About the role
The successful candidate will have experience with projects that identify, design, implement, and deliver quality software applications integrated with various hardware and other connected devices. The ability to work closely with customers to understand problems and present quality solutions is required. The majority of RND’s clients develop medical devices regulated by the FDA, so the successful candidate will be able to quickly learn about FDA 21 CFR Part 820 – Quality System Regulation and IEC 62304 Software Development Lifecycle.
Responsibilities include PC and microprocessor-based software development, software/hardware integration, written correspondence and documentation, system verification and validation, and customer interaction and training as necessary.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with some or all of the following technologies: C#, WPF, SQL, XML, HTML, JavaScript, ASP.Net
- Experience in developing Graphical User Interfaces
- Experience with serial communications or TCP/IP is a plus
