Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions using modern development methodologies and user-centered design, analytics, and machine learning tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative healthcare applications.
• Use leading-edge technologies and languages like JS, TS, and C# to reduce medical errors, streamline record sharing, and improve patient care.
• Contribute to a vibrant and collaborative team environment at Epic's uniquely themed campus in Madison, WI.
• Participate in regular code reviews and pair programming sessions to ensure high-quality software.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development through workshops, conferences, and online courses.

Requirements

• A BS/BA or greater in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• A history of academic excellence or professional success.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship (persons with appropriate qualifications and eligible for TN status under NAFTA may apply).

• Experience with modern web technologies and frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for improving healthcare outcomes through technology.

Skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#.
• Experience with front-end and back-end development.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
• Understanding of healthcare informatics and clinical workflows.

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. Annual raises and bonuses are available, along with stock grants.
