Responsibilities
- Develop software solutions using modern development methodologies and user-centered design, analytics, and machine learning tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative healthcare applications.
- Use leading-edge technologies and languages like JS, TS, and C# to reduce medical errors, streamline record sharing, and improve patient care.
- Contribute to a vibrant and collaborative team environment at Epic's uniquely themed campus in Madison, WI.
- Participate in regular code reviews and pair programming sessions to ensure high-quality software.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development through workshops, conferences, and online courses.
Requirements
- A BS/BA or greater in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- A history of academic excellence or professional success.
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship (persons with appropriate qualifications and eligible for TN status under NAFTA may apply).
Qualifications
- Experience with modern web technologies and frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for improving healthcare outcomes through technology.
Skills
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#.
- Experience with front-end and back-end development.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of healthcare informatics and clinical workflows.
