Software Engineer

About the role

We're looking for a talented software engineer to join our team. The platform is incredibly ambitious, and the role will test your ability to work across the stack, solve business problems, and work with data at scale.

Responsibilities

• Work on our React Frontend that uses DuckDB WASM to allow customers to interact with their data
• Build infrastructure that processes millions of automations for our customers
• Improve our relational algebra compiler that transforms complex data operations into efficient data warehouse queries
• Expand on our multi tier query caching system that can share partial results between queries
• Develop intuitive user interfaces that help customers build sophisticated AI workflows without headaches
• Solve challenging problems at the intersection of distributed systems, compiler theory, UX, and practical AI applications

Requirements

• You’re ambitious and are looking for a steep personal growth curve
• You want to build great products, and care about everything from UX to Infrastructure
• You like to work fast and get things into customers’ hands
• You love solving complex technical problems and can think independently
• You have a strong grasp of computer science fundamentals and system design
• You're comfortable diving into unfamiliar codebases and making them better
• You hate communication overhead and want to talk to customers directly
