About the role
Develop and optimize agentic AI capabilities, build and evolve the core infrastructure and product features of Clicks, design and scale systems to meet growing product demands while maintaining reliability and performance, optimize application performance, memory usage, and startup times, build evaluation environments for Clicks’ agents, create monitoring, alerting, and observability systems to ensure operational excellence, build deployment pipelines and robust update mechanisms, influence product direction and shape what we build.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize agentic AI capabilities
- Build and evolve the core infrastructure and product features of Clicks
- Design and scale systems to meet growing product demands while maintaining reliability and performance
- Optimize application performance, memory usage, and startup times
- Create monitoring, alerting, and observability systems to ensure operational excellence
- Build deployment pipelines and robust update mechanisms
- Influence product direction and shape what we build
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience building and operating backend systems in production
- Strong programming skills, primarily in Python
- Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Are comfortable working with infrastructure as code and modern DevOps practices
- Thrive in an ultra fast-paced startup environment and enjoy taking ownership
- Experience designing scalable systems (e.g. caching, sharding)
- Familiarity with FastAPI, Postgres, or similar backend technologies
- Frontend experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Experience with or a strong understanding of AI agents and applied AI systems

Must be a US citizen or hold a valid visa.
