Software Engineer

About the role

Join a dynamic engineering team supporting federal agencies on mission-critical initiatives. We have an immediate need for experienced Cloud Engineers who can quickly step into active projects. Candidates must have current or recent federal security clearance and be eligible to work on secured environments from day one.

Responsibilities

• Immediate placement on high-impact federal projects supporting critical systems and infrastructure
• Flexible contract engagements with strong likelihood of extension or redeployment
• Competitive hourly compensation and collaboration with highly skilled technical teams
• Exposure to secure federal environments, hybrid cloud architectures, and modern engineering stacks

Requirements

• Active or recently held federal security clearance (required)
• Strong proficiency in Python, including backend services, APIs, and automation
• Hands-on AWS experience, including hybrid cloud environments
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools
• Experience with Kafka or similar real-time data streaming technologies
• Solid Linux, Bash scripting, networking, and system performance knowledge
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows
• Experience with Snowflake or similar data platforms

Qualifications

• Experience with React.js, TypeScript, or similar front-end frameworks (preferred)
