Software Engineer

This position supports projects located in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of Full Stack and front-end web applications for specific program support.
• Utilize Oracle software development including developing packages, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and indexes.
• Oracle front-end development using Oracle Forms or APEX.
• Work embedded in an Agile Development Environment, using Agile Development and Collaboration tools (JIRA).
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Minimum of 3 or more years of recent and related work experience.
• Full stack or front-end web development experience (HTML, CSS, JS, PL/SQL).
• Experience with Oracle software development including developing packages, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and indexes.
• Experience with Oracle front-end development using Oracle Forms or APEX.
• Experience programming in Python.
• Experience with Agile Development and Collaboration tools (JIRA).
• Full Secret Clearance required to start, with ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS).
• Must be a team player with strong work ethics and culture-oriented mindset.
• Able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers.
• Must be organized with good time management skills and able to work outside normal schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.

Desired Qualifications

• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Experience working with parquet and Time Series data design/storage.
• Experience with Digital Engineering (MBSE, Digital Twins, etc.).
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux environments.
• Experience with version control software.
• Excellent project documentation and communication skills.

Work Environment

• Position is located onsite in Cape Canaveral, Florida; some travel may be required.
• Schedules are subject to change based on position and customer needs.
• Generally an office environment, but may involve inside or outside work depending on the task.
• Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time) and may require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).
• Regular attendance in accordance with an established work schedule is critical.
