Software Engineer

Auria is looking to hire a Software Engineer II to support our MELCO Program. This role can be remote, or hybrid in Colorado Springs, CO or Bethesda, MD.

Responsibilities

• Create software and performance requirements from subsystem product requirements
• Design and develop new software or enhancements in line with software requirements
• Integrate and test software components as part of the program's delivery cycle
• Debug software and correct defects identified during integration, test, and review
• Learn satellite communications and constellation concepts relevant to the program

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Linux/Unix, C/C++, React, TypeScript, MATLAB, or Python
• Experience developing mission-critical or high-availability real-time software
• Exposure to object-oriented development, optimization/operations research, visualization, or modeling and simulation

Pay

The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications — skills, education, and experience — and the position level. Range: $94,000–$118,000.
