Software Engineer
About the role
The work involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend microservices and distributed systems to support enterprise AI operations. Responsibilities include building and maintaining microservices that integrate seamlessly with cloud-native platforms, ensuring continuous monitoring and high reliability across all operational workflows. Building and optimizing APIs and event-driven architectures for scalable and reliable data flow, developing Kubernetes-native and cloud-native applications for robust, production-grade deployments, integrating and leveraging technologies such as Rust, Go, Python, TypeScript, Django, NATS, Kafka, Redis, ClickHouse, OpenTelemetry, OpenRouter, and LiteLLM, collaborating with cross-functional teams to accelerate operational AI adoption using a modern Hub-and-Spoke architecture, supporting integration of AI, DevSecOps, data engineering, platform engineering, cybersecurity, and observability into mission-focused workflows, implementing continuous monitoring and scalable software delivery pipelines, contributing to the development of agentic AI systems and enterprise AI governance solutions, and ensuring high standards of security, reliability, and performance across all backend services and platform microservices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices and distributed systems to support enterprise AI operations
- Build and maintain microservices that integrate seamlessly with cloud-native platforms, ensuring continuous monitoring and high reliability across all operational workflows
- Build and optimize APIs and event-driven architectures for scalable and reliable data flow
- Develop Kubernetes-native and cloud-native applications for robust, production-grade deployments
- Integrate and leverage technologies such as Rust, Go, Python, TypeScript, Django, NATS, Kafka, Redis, ClickHouse, OpenTelemetry, OpenRouter, and LiteLLM
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate operational AI adoption using a modern Hub-and-Spoke architecture
- Support integration of AI, DevSecOps, data engineering, platform engineering, cybersecurity, and observability into mission-focused workflows
- Implement continuous monitoring and scalable software delivery pipelines
- Contribute to the development of agentic AI systems and enterprise AI governance solutions
- Ensure high standards of security, reliability, and performance across all backend services and platform microservices
Requirements
- Experience in backend microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures, utilizing technologies such as Kubernetes, Rust, Go, Python, and TypeScript
- Experience with cloud-native engineering practices, API development
- Exposure to enterprise-scale AI operations and mission-driven software delivery
Qualifications
- US Citizen
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required
