Software Engineer - Assistant Vice President

As part of our global technology team, you will work with a group of passionate engineers who build technical solutions to complex business problems. We are in an exciting phase of transformation in margin and collateral domains in Markets Technology, and you will participate in the full spectrum of building a software solution, closely collaborating with product teams and users. We expect you to contribute to our vision of building a strong engineering culture within our global teams.

Responsibilities

• Solve engineering challenges and build robust, high-quality solutions
• Work across the entire software development lifecycle
• Collaborate with product teams and end users
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Uphold TDD and clean code principles

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an engineering field involving software programming or systems engineering
• Hands-on professional software development experience
• Proficiency in programming in React, Java, and/or Python
• Experience building RESTful APIs using frameworks like Spring
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and SQL
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of application development experience
• Experience in investment banking or financial services
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS) and distributed systems (Kafka, Kubernetes, S3, DynamoDB, MongoDB, or other NoSQL databases)

Pay

Full-time salary range: $121,200.00 – $181,800.00
