About the role

The Enterprise Systems Analyst (ESA) plays a critical role in driving innovation initiatives across Zebra IT and the broader Zebra organization. This role partners closely with business and technology stakeholders to identify innovation opportunities, translate ideas into actionable solutions, and accelerate value through proofs of concept and delivery efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Solves highly complex business issues and problems with automated systems.
  • Identify and evaluate innovation opportunities across IT and business functions.
  • Conduct business and systems analysis; translate findings into clear user stories, requirements, and solution concepts.
  • Cook up and support Proofs of Concept (POCs) and delivery activities to advance innovation initiatives.
  • Research, assess, and report on current, emerging, and disruptive technologies, including but not limited to: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), including Generative AI Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Chatbots and Virtual Agents Intelligent Document Processing Computer Vision Augmented and Virtual Reality Blockchain and Cryptocurrency
  • Act as IT’s innovation liaison, collaborating with other innovation teams across Zebra.
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate innovation and ideation workshops.
  • Promote and support Citizen Development across Zebra, including:
    • Providing training and guidance on citizen development tools
    • Acting as an Innovation Evangelist within IT and the enterprise
  • Track, analyze, and report progress and outcomes of innovation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of enterprise system analysis experience, preferably within an innovation-focused environment.
  • Strong, hands-on experience working in an enterprise agile environment.
  • In-depth working knowledge of AI/GenAI and related tools and technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Platform tools.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to solve end-user issues and apply root cause analysis.
  • Ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Strong documentation and IT process management skills.
  • Ability to successfully deliver results in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree.
  • Experience with Google Gemini Enterprise with the ability to build ADK agents.
  • Extensive experience with Citizen Development platforms and practices.
  • Understanding enterprise business processes related to Oracle EBS, Siebel, and Salesforce.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, especially AI/GenAI solution providers, including Google Cloud, Azure Cloud, OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.
