Software Engineer 4 - Revenue Infrastructure

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer 4 - Revenue Infrastructure to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space. This role will focus on building and scaling the core systems that support revenue operations across complex global workflows. You will partner closely with Product Managers and engineering teams to design architectures that are resilient, configurable, and built for high-volume financial processing. The work will span data pipelines, partner workflows, settlement, invoicing, and reconciliation, with an emphasis on reliable integration across upstream and downstream systems. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers and engineering teams to design scalable architectures
• Develop highly configurable data pipelines for global financial workflows
• Build infrastructure for revenue integration, settlement, and cash reconciliation
• Generate invoices for partner organizations and manage revenue partner workflows
• Understand upstream and downstream systems to inform data model design and process integration

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent required
• Strong data structures and algorithms knowledge with server-side expertise essential
• Experience in distributed data processing and software engineering design required
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, or other JVM languages required
• Knowledge of gRPC, GraphQL, or RESTful API design and implementation
• Experience with Pub-Sub (Kafka) and stream processing frameworks (Spark/Flink)
• Expertise in handling large-scale data challenges and building secure, scalable distributed applications

Pay

$250,000 – $413,000 annually
