About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer 4 to join our team on a contingent basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of software development principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement software applications based on client requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Debug and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to improve development processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on specific programming languages or technologies.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in specific tools, frameworks, or platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services is a plus.

Pay

$65.00 - $70.00 per hour on W2. The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
