Contract Duration: 9 Months
Responsibilities
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
- Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, or long-term Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation.
- Contribute to resolving complex situations with a solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
- Support, maintain, and enhance a Legal Technology application supporting eDiscovery research requests.
- Develop, update, and maintain APIs and application integrations.
- Write and execute database queries to support application functionality and troubleshooting.
- Create, modify, and maintain database objects, including stored procedures.
- Manage and support an Azure-hosted application environment.
- Deploy releases and application updates within Azure.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools, including Terraform, to make and manage application changes.
- Monitor application health, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
- Partner with engineering and business stakeholders to ensure application stability and performance.
- Contribute to future modernization initiatives as the platform evolves.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
- Azure, C#, .NET, SQL, VisualBasic, or Development Language (Java/C#).
- 7+ years of software engineering, application engineering, or application support experience.
- Strong experience developing and supporting APIs.
- Hands-on experience with .NET Core development.
- Strong SQL Server experience, including query development and stored procedures.
- Experience supporting applications hosted in Microsoft Azure.
- Experience deploying releases and managing cloud-based applications.
- Knowledge of Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing applications.
