About the role

The primary responsibility of the Software Engineer 3 with Security Clearance at Nightwing is to design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that meet the stringent security requirements of classified projects. This role requires expertise in multiple programming languages and frameworks, as well as strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure software solutions using modern programming languages and tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, quality assurance, and project managers to deliver high-quality software products.
  • Conduct thorough testing of software components to ensure they meet security and performance standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Stay updated with the latest security technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer 3 with Security Clearance.
  • Proven experience in developing secure software solutions for classified projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and agile processes.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance with government regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Security clearance required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience with secure software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in classified environments.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Experience with software testing and debugging tools.

Skills

  • Programming Languages: C#, Java, Python, etc.
  • Frameworks: .NET, Spring Boot, Django, etc.

Pay

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $110,070 - $215,653, commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
