About the role
The Software Engineer 3 position is part of our Information Technology team focused on Business Applications. Reporting to the Senior Software Engineer, this role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to ensure software meets business needs.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of coding standards and practices.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure software quality.
- Document design decisions, implementation details, and test results.
- Support production systems and respond to production issues as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with object-oriented design and development.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices.
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with API design and integration.

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
Schedule
This role is hybrid, combining both remote and in-office work. Remote work is expected 4-5 days per week.
